Project Types are used to specify the type of project/activity/work being recorded. The federal mappings for this field are used in PPR reports as follows:

Mapped Project Type	Definition	For use in PPRs Reports
Court Ordered Monitoring	Monitoring activities that are court ordered	PADD, PAAT, PATBI, PAIMI, PAIR*
Educating Policy Makers	Activities involving education of policymakers on a topic	All P&A funding sources
Education Training	Training activities	All P&A funding sources
Investigations	Training activities	PADD, PAAT, PATBI, PAIMI, PAIR*
Monitoring	Monitoring activities that are not court ordered	PADD, PAAT, PATBI, PAIMI, PAIR*
Other Systemic Advocacy (Non-Litigation)	Systemic activity that does not fall under other Project Types	All P&A funding sources
Outreach/PR	Outreach Activities	All P&A funding sources
Systemic Litigation/Class Actions	Litigation activities involving multiple individuals	All P&A funding sources except PAVA

*Monitoring and Investigation activity types are not separately reported under PAIR but can be included in overall narrative reporting on systems activities.
